Chicagoans may be cheesy when it comes to their love of pizza, but don’t call them festive, hip, snobby, romantic, wild, passionate or good drivers.
According to Travel + Leisure’s list of America’s Favorite Cities 2014, Chicago was ranked no. 1 for pizza, but didn’t make the list for many other categories—including passionate sports fans.
The survey tallied more than 50,000 votes, ranking 38 cities in dozens of categories like rudest, most stylish, friendliest, most attractive, and more.
Ironically, the Second City had no second-place rankings and was instead named no. 5 on the list for best museums and public transportation, no. 4 for luxury store shopping and no. 3 for architecture.
The city was snubbed from categories like festivals and live music, nightlife, craft beer, bars, notable restaurants and vacation destinations and wasn’t included on the lists of cities with the most stylish, intelligent, hip, or friendly people.
The results were somewhat surprising, considering the city is home to what has been recently dubbed one of the best restaurants in the world and was recently named the best city for drinking by GQ Magazine.
Not surprisingly, however, the city also didn’t make the cut for the list of good drivers, peace and quiet and best weather.

The top cities overall, according to the rankings, were Providence, Houston, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Los Angeles.
