Home of Ald. Freddenna Lyle Burglarized

Police say burglars invaded the home during the day

The home of a Chicago Alderman was burglarized on Monday.

The house, located on the 7200 block of South Rhodes Avenue, belongs to 6th Ward Alderman Freddrenna Lyle, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

This morning, Police News Affairs  would only confirm a burglary at that location, but would not say whether Lyle was the owner of the home, or if there was anybody in the home at the time of the incident.

According to reports, burglars invaded the home in the Park Manor neighborhood between 10 a.m and 4 p.m taking laptop computers, cameras, and other electronic items, police said.

Lyle, 51, could not be reached for comment.

At this time, no one is in custody, but police are investigating.
