Daniella Guzman to Throw First White Sox Pitch for Cinco de Mayo

Come on out to the ballpark to see NBC 5’s Daniella Guzman throw out the first pitch at the Chicago White Sox Cinco de Mayo celebration game Thursday, May 3 when the Sox take on the Cleveland Indians.

Tickets normally priced at $40, $36, $34, $22, and $14 are marked down to $20, $18, $17, $11, and $7. 

Game time is 7:05, but get there early so you don’t miss Daniella’s big pitch!

The Mariachi Monumental De Mexico will perform the national anthem for the celebration, and Mariachi Zapopan, one of Chicago’s most talented mariachi groups, will perform at Gate 3 from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. They also will perform on-field with a folkloric dance ensemble from 6:40 p.m.-6:50 p.m. 

The Cinco de Mayo Party Shop will be open near the Gate 4 stage prior to the game and on the 100 level concourse until the 4th inning, where fans can purchase festive attire (sombreros, beads, etc.)

Other planned performers include:

Quebradita Dancers performing modern-day dances native to Northern Mexico at Gate 4 from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

Joe Rendon Salsa Con Soul performing various genres of music with the addition of tropical rhythms at Gate 5 from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
