Graham Elliot Closing, Reconcepting Restaurant

One of Chicago's top restaurants is prepping for a makeover.

Graham Elliot is closing his namesake River North restaurant on New Year's Eve in order to make way for a new concept, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Elliot told the newspaper he wants to do something "cool and different" with the new concept.

The new restaurant will be in a "smaller, intimate setting," and will not be located at its current location at 217 W. Huron St.

Elliot also operates Graham Elliot Bistro on Randolph Street. He closed his casual eatery Grahamwich shop earlier this year.
