Glen Ellyn is offering holiday shoppers an incentive to be kind to their fellow drivers while out looking for bargains.
The city's Chamber of Commerce and police department are giving away $20 gift certificates to shoppers who park properly in the central business district.
One gift certificate will be given away a day from Nov. 29 through Christmas Eve, and each day's winner will be chosen by a Glen Ellyn community service officer.
Officials say it's a good way to welcome shoppers to the city and to thank them for supporting local business.
Double parkers need not apply.
