Four Shot in West Englewood Home

Three teenage boys and a man were found shot inside their home Sunday night

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in West Englewood Sunday night where three teenage boys and a man were found shot inside their home.

The shooting happened in the 5700 block of South Seeley Avenue and police were notified at 10:22 p.m., police spokesman Officer Ron Gaines told the Chicago Tribune.

The four victims were sitting inside their home when a gunman shot through a window and hit each one, police said.

Police told the Tribune they found two 17-year-old boys, one shot in the chest and the other shot in the foot; a 16-year-old who was shot in the chest and arm; and a 26-year-old who was wounded in the abdomen and arm.

The victims were expected to survive their injuries.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, and police said the shooting didn't appear to be a targeted attack. Wentworth Area detectives are following leads.
