Four Shot at Richton Park Nightclub

Four people were shot late Saturday night inside a South-suburban teen club.

According to Richton Park Police, the suspect, 19-year-old Lamar S. Collins-Thompson, was taken into custody without incident on Monday.

Collins-Thompson has officially been charged with four counts of Aggravated Battery with a Fire arm, which are Class X felonies, police said.

Police were called to a shooting at the Kingdom Cafe Nightclub located at 22119 Governor's Highway in Richton Park just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a release from police

Witnesses said a fight broke out and some people who were involved left the club, but later came back with a gun and began shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, three men and a boy were found shot and in serious condition.  The victims were transported to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields and Chicago Heights, according to the release.
