Falling Concrete Shuts Down Street

Incident at same address last year

Police have closed a downtown Chicago street after concrete fell from a building. It is the same building that had falling concrete problems last year, police said.

The street was closed around 3 p.m. Saturday after police responded to reports of concrete falling from the building at 330 N. Stetson Ave.

The incident last year damaged cars in the surrounding area, police said.

No damage or injuries have been reported in Saturday’s incident.
