One person is dead, and two others injured after a crash involving three vehicles on the Edens Expressway Sunday morning.
Illinois State Police say the incident occurred at Gross Point Rd. on the expressway around 1:37 a.m.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials, and both of the individuals injured were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Outbound lanes were temporarily closed but have reopened as of 8 a.m. Sunday.
