A police chase in Merrillville, Ind., Friday ended with a multi-vehicle crash and the suspect fleeing police in his underwear.
According to the NWI Times, a black Chevrolet Cavalier was being followed by Lake County officers when it crashed into three vehicles at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Broadway shortly before 1 p.m.
Police say the driver got out of the vehicle wearing only his underwear, and began running from the scene. He was arrested by officers after a short foot pursuit.
A Lake County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman said the chase started after officers attempted to pull the driver over for a traffic violation.
Police say the suspect, whose name was not released, was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Charges are pending.
