Man Accused of Killing Couple Over Puppy Dispute

The alleged murderer is originally from Chicago

A dispute over a puppy resulted in an apparent double murder last week.

Last Wednesday, Kalamazoo, Mich., police found 27-year-old Tamika Morris and 29-year-old Corey Johnson dead in their apartment, the Daily Herald reports.

Christopher White, 30, is facing open murder, assault and firearms charges in connection with the murders, according to the Daily Herald.

The murders were apparently over a disagreement about a puppy.

The couple's 9-year-old daughter, who was home during the attack, was not harmed according to reports.

White, who moved from Chicago to Michigan two months ago reportedly grew up with the female victim.
