A death investigation was underway in West Chicago Friday, authorities said.
The investigation was taking place around noon in the 600 block of East Forest Avenue.
Little information was released, but police said the DuPage County State's Attorney's office and investigators from the DuPage County Major Times Task Force were "assisting with the investigation."
In a later update, authorities said they "continue to follow up on numerous leads" in the ongoing investigation. An autopsy was schedueld for Saturday morning at the DuPage County Coroner's office.
