A death investigation is underway in Winfield Monday after three bodies were found at a home in the west Chicago suburb Monday.
Police in the area would only confirm they were investigating the three deaths, but did not release further details. The home is located in the 500 block of of Jefferson Street near Manchester Road.
Neighbors reported they knew something was wrong when they noticed a dog that lives in the home was left outside all night and had been barking. Another neighbor reported seeing two of the bodies on a kitchen floor before they called 911.
The identities of the bodies were not immediately released Monday.
