DePaul University is looking into reports that a noose was found on the school’s Lincoln Park campus.
In an emailed alert sent to students and faculty, the university said it received “multiple reports that a noose — a horrific symbol of racist intimidation — was found on the Lincoln Park Campus.”
“These reports are being investigated and those found to be responsible will be held accountable,” the alert stated.
The email did not specify exactly where or when the noose may have been found.
Additional details were not immediately available.
