A new plan seeks to move the brick wall behind Wrigley Field's home plate three feet closer to add 56 prime box seats, according to Crain's Chicago Business. The Chicago Landmarks Commission will make the final call after the team's presentation on Thursday.

The plan proposes taking down the current wall and reconstructing it closer to home plate.

Cubs president Theo Epstein said he would need to review the plan first but doesn't see a smaller foul area as a problem.

Wrigley Field became a landmark in 2004.
