Cubs Lose Two Pitchers to DL

Celebrate This Holiday Season in Lively St. Charles

The Chicago Cubs lost two pitchers Wednesday when Andrew Cashner and Randy Wells were sent to the disabled list for two-week stints, the team announced.

Cashner strained his rotator cuff Tuesday against the Arizona Diamond backs. Wells has a right forearm strain.

The team will bring up Triple-A pitcher Casey Coleman and move left-handed reliever James Russell out of the bullpen.
