Several lanes of the outbound Kennedy Expressway are closed after a crash during Tuesday’s morning commute on the North Side.
The multi-vehicle crash happened at 7:39 a.m. on I-90 near Armitage Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.
Several ambulances were sent to the scene, but information about injuries was not immediately available, police said. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
All outbound lanes were briefly closed after the crash, but some have since reopened and traffic is getting by.
