A married Des Plaines couple was arrested in north suburban Evanston Tuesday after police say they found more than 60 grams of crack cocaine in their vehicle.
Officers pulled over Tracy Strawther, 31, and her husband Maxx Strawther, 33, after police received a tip about a possible drug purchase near Wesley Avenue and Lee Street in Evanston, according to a statement from Evanston police.
While searching the vehicle, which matched a description given to police earlier, officers found more than 60 grams of crack cocaine in the center console, along with $450, police said.
Both were charged with one count of felony possession of a controlled substance and one count of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
The couple's next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 30.
