CTA Construction Causes Temporary Changes

Blue and Brown lines will be affected

Construction work will affect service on the CTA Blue and Brown lines this week.

From 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Blue Line riders who board southbound trains at Division, Chicago and Grand stations will have to enter and exit trains from the northbound side of the platform, the CTA says.

Also on the Blue Line, customers who board the northbound trains at the Grand, Chicago and Division stations must board and exit trains using the southbound side of the platform between 10:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. Thursday, according to the CTA.

At the Chicago Avenue Brown Line station, the Superior Street entrance toward the Loop will be closed from 10:30 a.m. Monday until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Passengers can use the main entrance at Chicago Avenue to access trains bound for the Loop.

The CTA also canceled construction work scheduled for the Red Line this week that was going to affect the North/Clybourn Station.
