Winter hasn’t officially started but it will soon feel like it has.

Friday is expected to see some of the coldest temps of the season.

The day will likely begin in the teens and will only recover into the low- and mid-20s for most by the afternoon.

Wind gusts between 5 and 10 mph will make for wind chills in the single digits for the morning and teens in the afternoon.

Temps are expected to stay cold through the weekend, but will likely recover into the low- to mid-30s.
