City Chase Gets Ready to Rumble

Scavenger hunt-type competition hits Chicago August 27

Navigating your way to work in the city of Chicago is already an adventure, so why not win a prize for it?

Put your skills to the test on August 27 when Chicago Sport and Social Club hosts City Chase, dubbed the world's largest urban adventure series.

The fifth annual event offers teams of two a chance to race around town and complete 10 challenges before crossing the finish line. Challenges from previous year's races have included repelling at Navy Pier, human pyramid building and live karaoke.

Competitors are free to employ the help of friends and family or even make use of the Internet while navigating the city. The only catch is that they must travel either by foot or use the CTA.

This year's Chase kicks off at 8 a.m. at Wrigley Field and wraps up with an after-party at John Barleycorn's in Wrigleyville.

Registration is $190 per team.

You're already a pro at navigating the city's buses and trains, so why not have some fun proving it?
