If you're going to the Taste of Chicago this year, don't expect fireworks.
The city announced it will no longer sponsor fireworks at the Taste on July 3 or 4 this year, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The Sun-Times reports that the Chicago Park District decided to cut the fireworks display to save money on the event.
Chicago will still have an official fireworks display on July 2 and 4 at Navy Pier, sponsored by the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition authority.
Last year, the city cancelled the annual July 3 fireworks display in Grant Park, in an effort to save money.
