Christmas Music Set to Take Over Chicago Radio Station

Christmas radio is coming to town.

iHeartMedia Chicago announced Wednesday that it will debut its Christmas music station in the city Thursday.

The kick-off for holiday tunes on the 93.9 LITE FM station begins at 4:05 p.m., with around-the-clock Christmas music set to continue through the end of the year.

“We are thrilled to be Chicago’s home for holiday music and this year, listeners will find amazing contests and a few new surprises along with the Yuletide cheer we bring to Chicagoland every year,” Mick Lee, program director for the station, said in a statement.
