Chief Keef Released From Jail Early

Keith Cozart's sentence up 10 days early for good behavior

Rap artist Chief Keef reportedly was released early from Cook County Jail after serving time for a positive marijuana test.

Keith Cozart was sentenced Oct. 15 when he tested positive for marijuana during a random drug test. The test was ordered after Cozart pleaded guilty to a speeding ticket he received over the summer.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Cozart was released Wednesday morning for exhibiting good behavior while in custody. His early release cut the original 20-day sentence in half.

Cozart attended a court hearing for an ongoing paternity suit during his time in jail, according to the Tribune. He's due in court again for that case Dec. 10.
