Chief Keef Gets 20 Days For Marijuana Use

Keith Cozart faces 20 days in Cook County Jail

Chief Keef has been sentenced to 20 days in Cook County Jail after testing positive for marijuana during a random drug test.

Officials tested the rap artist, also known by his birth name Keith Cozart, after he pleaded guilty to a speeding ticket over the summer. Cozart was caught going 110 mph on the Edens Expressway the morning of May 27. He was put on probation for 18 months.

His most recent sentence came during a hearing Tuesday at the Skokie Courthouse.

Cozart has faced many legal troubles this year. He was served with his second paternity suit back in June and was found in contempt of the court last month after failing to pay child support.

This also isn't the first time Cozart has been in trouble for marijuana use. He was arrested for possession in Miami Beach last August and was caught smoking at an Atlanta hotel in May.
