Chicago Rescue Kicks Off Second Annual ‘Dog Restaurant Week'

Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their sales this week to local rescue One Tail at a Time

Restaurant Week in Chicago is going to the dogs this time around.

Local dog rescue One Tail at a Time will kick off their annual "Chicago Dog Restaurant Week" Sunday. The event combines Chicago's love for food and its passion for helping homeless pets.

The restaurants partnering with One Tail at a Time for the event will donate a portion of their sales to the rescue through Aug. 29. The fundraiser helps the rescue continue its mission of rescuing dogs in danger of euthanasia and serving Chicago through its community outreach events and programs.

One Tail at a Time recently opened a brand new adoption center at 2244 N. Wood Street in the West Bucktown neighborhood. The rescue also participated in NBC's successful "Clear the Shelters" campaign.

The following restaurants are participating in "Chicago Dog Restaurant Week:"
