Chicago is a city known for its vibrant and diverse neighborhoods, but one in particular is standing out above the rest.
A neighborhood on Chicago’s Lower West Side has been dubbed one of the 12 coolest neighborhoods in the world, according to Forbes.
The ranking was made by travel experts who dubbed the best neighborhoods to explore right now, the publication states.
Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood made the list for its “streets lined with hip galleries and walls decorated with coloful murals.”
According to Melissa Biggs Bradley, founder of travel site Indagare, Pilsen is “a nest of cutting-edge culture and art.”
Other neighborhoods on the list were Barcelona’s Sants, Washington D.C.’s Navy Yard, Amsterdam’s Amsterdam Noord, Cartagena’s Getsemani, and others.
