Cook County prosecutors say a 30-year-old Chicago man has been sentenced to 95 years in prison in connection with a 2009 robbery near a convenience store.
Prosecutors say Regalardo Smith shot two people and severely injured a 16-year-old in the robbery on Chicago's West Side. Smith was convicted of felony counts of armed robbery, aggravated battery with a firearm, vehicular invasion and armed violence.
A Cook County judge sentenced Smith on Thursday.
