Which Chicago Neighborhoods are Best for Trick-or-Treating: Report

An online real estate data base company has ranked Chicago as one of the country's best cities for trick-or-treating

Trick-or-treaters looking to fill their bags with the most candy they can may want to check out these neighborhoods in Chicago.

According to a new study from Zillow, Chicago was listed among the top 20 cities nationwide for trick-or-treating this Halloween.

Coming in at number 18 after Albuquerque and Austin, Chicago joins the top cities across the nation who have been evaluated based on where children can get the most candy, in the least amount of time, in the safest areas.

Among the top five neighborhoods for trick-or-treaters in Chicago were West DePaul, Ravenswood Manor, Roscoe Village and Sauganash. North Side neighborhood North Mayfair also rounded out the list.

The ranking was based on median home value, housing density of single-family homes, crime rates and age of population.

The top city in the country for costumed candy-seekers was Philadelphia, followed by San Jose, San Francisco, Milwaukee and Los Angeles.
