A judge has ordered a cash bond set at $35,000 for a Bensenville man charged with stealing an SUV with a baby girl in the back seat on Thursday.

Adan Ozuna is accused of taking a woman's SUV early Thursday morning after she briefly stepped out of the vehicle at the Regents Park Apartments in Bensenville. The woman's daughter, 18-month-old Kimberly Delgado, was inside the black Buick. An Amber Alert was issued for her disappearance.

According to DuPage County Sheriff's office, when Ozuna is released from the DuPage County Jail, he will be transferred to the custody of the Schaumburg Police Department, as well as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Police arrested Ozuna on Friday at an apartment complex in Mount Prospect.

He was charged with unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a converted motor vehicle, endangering the life of a child, and driving with a revoked license, police said after discussing the case with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
