Inbound flights to O’Hare International Airport were being held at their origin until 5:45 p.m. Tuesday due to thunderstorms.
Flights were previously delayed an average of an hour and 41 minutes.
About 107 Flights at O’Hare and 26 flights at Midway were canceled Tuesday afternoon.
