Burger King Plans Delivery Service In Chicago

Twenty area restaurants to be included in delivery roll-out

Getting a Whopper delivered to your home may soon be as easy as scoring a pizza.

Burger King announced Tuesday it is expanding its "BK Delivers" service to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.

Twenty Chicago-area Burger Kings are part of the initial roll-out, according to a news release, and the locations will be added to the delivery web site over the next three months in Lincoln Park, Evanston, Skokie, The Loop, Cicero, Downers Grove and Logan Square.

Customers can order via phone or online, with a minimum food order of $10. Delivery hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and deliveries are limited to physical addresses within a restaurant's zone

BK officials say the service has already been successful in New York, Miami, Houston and greater Washington, D.C.
