A west suburban college building was closed Thursday morning after a bomb threat was called into the school, police said.
Aurora University's Institute for Collaboration building, on the 400 block of South Calumet, was evacuated around 9:15 a.m. and closed, according to the college.
Aurora Police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said police and a specialized K-9 unit searched the building, and no explosive devices were found.
The building was back open by 12:30 p.m., but classes in the building were canceled. The rest of the university was unaffected.
No injuries were reported.
