Blago's Super Bowl Pick

Forty celebrities asked their predictions

The results of the Illinois governor races are still in the air, and everyone's got a theory on who the winners are. Meanwhile, a former Illinois governor is making his predictions about another important competition.

Rod Blagojevich, and 40 other "celebrities," is laying down his Super Bowl predictions over at SI.com as part of their "Celebrity Picks for the Super Bowl" gallery.

So who is friggin' golden in Blago's eyes?

"Indianapolis Colts ... with a score of 38-31," Blagojevich told SI.com. "The Colts' offense is better than the Saints' offense because they have the most valuable player in football, Peyton Manning. And the Colts' defense is better and faster than the Saints' defense."

But Blagojevich's spokesperson wants to makes it clear that this is the team Rod thinks will win, not necessarily the team he wants to win.

"He liked being asked to give Super Bowl predictions," said Glenn Selig of The Publicity Agency. "He's a huge sports fan, and he knows what he's talking about."

Now if he could tell us how long his "celebrity" status will last, we might start putting down some bets.
