Bank of America Chicago Marathon Training Week 16: Sharpen Every Step

I’m feeling good about my progress

I like Nike’s running mantra for this week, “Don’t taper, sharpen.” I’m running faster during this second to last week of marathon training.

I’m feeling good about my progress. 

I had to cut short my longer run thanks to a sore hip. That’s something I haven’t experienced so far in my training. I’ve looked up every stretch, iced and foam rolled to combat the soreness. It’s starting to feel a bit better.
