A 5-month-old baby was found dead Thursday at a motel on Chicago's North Side, police said.
The baby boy's mother apparently stabbed him before stabbing herself in what appeared to be an attempted murder-suicide, police sources told the Chicago Tribune.
They were found around 10:30 a.m. in the Diplomat Motel in the 5200 block of North Lincoln Avenue, police said.
The mother was taken Advocate Illinois Masonic in critical condition.
