An Aurora University student faces several charges after authorities say he sexually abused a fellow student Saturday.

Kelly Moore, 22, of Chicago is charged with criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint.

Police say Moore and some other residents were at an informal "meet and greet" event at the school's Centennial Hall, when he walked the 19-year-old female student to her room.

The victim told investigators Moore asked to see the inside of her room, and once inside, he grabbed her from the hallway, pulled her inside and sexually abused her.

Moore appeared in bond court Sunday where his bond was set at $40,000.
