An 18-year-old man was shot in the legs and chest on the South Side Sunday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. He was last reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.
Bodies Found
Calumet City
The bodies of a man and woman -- one dead of a gunshot wound the other apparently beaten -- were found Monday afternoon in the Wentworth Woods Forest Preserve in the south suburbs, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Autopsies will be performed Tuesday.
Hit By Bus
Algonquin
A 7-year-old was struck by a school bus Monday morning when the driver left his seat and the bus lurched forward, the Chicago Tribune reported. The bus driver has been placed on paid leave while the incident is investigated.
