Three men beat and kicked a homeless man early Tuesday on the Near North Side, the Chicago Tribune reported. The victim was struck with a beer bottle and suffered a concussion and fractured ribs.

A 55-year-old man was in "guarded" condition Wednesday after he was shot multiple times during an armed robbery on the West Side, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The man was in an alley when someone shot him multiple times in the back and legs and robbed him.
Home Invasion
South Shore
A man who responded to a woman knocking on his door was shot after she and two men rushed into his home early Wednesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The man was shot once in the right shoulder and a second time in the lower back.
