Police believe Cleo M. Younce was taken Thursday afternoon

An Illinois Amber Alert has been canceled after a missing 13-year-old girl from Champaign was found safe.

Police said Cleo M. Younce was found in Missouri Friday morning after she was taken Thursday afternoon from her home in the 2400 block of Hathaway Drive.

Authorities identified 21-year-old Nicholas Hurley of Daleville, Ind., as the suspect. Police said the two know each other through family friends.

Police said Younce apparently left home at 12:30 p.m. to go for a walk and then called her mother at about 3:15 p.m. to tell her she had been abducted.

Younce and Hurley may be traveling in a bronze Chevy Suburban with the Indiana license plate 261CTD, police said.

Younce is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands 5-feet-8 and weighs about 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black half-jacket, a black tank top, dark jeans and black-and-teal K-Swiss shoes.

Hurley is a white male standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 295 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
