An abandoned car was found Monday morning partially submerged in a retention pond in west suburban Roselle.
Reports indicate police were called to the scene at Irving Park Road and Spring Hill Drive around 5:30 a.m. but did not find anyone inside the car.
Sky 5 was over the scene as firefighters searched for possible victims in the shallow pond.
Irving Park Road was down to one lane for a few hours, but there were no major delays reported in the area. Police are investigating.
