A man from Morton Grove was killed Thursday night after rolling an SUV on the northbound Kennedy Expressway.
The accident happened just south of Montrose Avenue exit when the driver of a Toyota Four Runner lost control and struck the guardrail, according to Illinois State Police.
The driver was ejected and dead at the scene, police said.
Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the driver as 26-year-old Sean A. Mitchell.
Two lanes of traffic were closed in addition to the Montrose Avenue exit ramp while the accident was cleared from the expressway, state police said.
