A 36-year-old Chicago man is in serious condition at University of Chicago Hospitals this morning after being set on fire on the city’s South Side over night, police said.
A neighbor found the man severely burned at his Bronzeville home around 10:30, according to police news affairs officers.
The man told police someone threw a flammable liquid on his left side and set him on fire in the 4300 block of South Cottage Grove Ave.
Police are investigating the incident. No one is in custody.
