Several Illinois restaurants have been named among the best in the country, according to a new report from OpenTable.
The list of 100 best brunch restaurants in America features eight eateries from Chicago and its suburbs.
Among the top brunch spots were Chicago’s Beatrix, The Publican, Little Goat, The Hampton Social, Shaw’s Crab House and Summer House Santa Monica. Also named were Oak Brook’s The Clubhouse and Naperville’s Meson Sabika.
The full list was based on more than 12 million reviews from more than 45,000 restaurants from April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018. It features restaurants from 24 states and Washington, D.C.
California had the most restaurants on the list, with 19 eateries ranked. It was followed by New York with 15, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania with nine each, and Illinois with eight.
