Nine Injured in CTA Bus Crash

At least nine people were hospitalized Sunday when two cars collided with a stopped CTA bus in Humboldt Park Sunday morning, police said.

The bus, an eastbound no. 66 Chicago bus, was stopped at the corner of Chicago Avenue and North Pulaski Road around 5:30 a.m. when two vehicles slammed into it.

At least nine people were taken to area hospitals in fair-to-serious condition, according to police news affairs. Among those injured were bus passengers, the bus driver and passengers in the crashed cars.
