A 7-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon when she was struck by a Pace bus in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in northwest suburban Woodstock.
The girl, a pedestrian, was struck by the bus about 3:15 p.m. in the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot at 1275 Lake Ave., according to Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Capt. Brendan Parker.
The girl was airlifted by Flight For Life to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with life-threatening injuries, Parker said.
Additional details from the Woodstock Police Department were not immediately available.
