Six people were transported to the hospital after a vehicle rear-ended a Pace bus in Orland Park Thursday morning, police said.
A Honda Civic was traveling down 159th Street when it hit a stopped Pace bus picking up passengers in the 8400 block of 159th Street, according to Orland Park Commander John Keating.
Eleven passengers were on the bus at the time of the accidents and six were transported to an area hospital with reports of pain, Keating said.
The driver of the Honda was issued a ticket for driving too fast for conditions, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
