A new restaurant from Bill and Giuliana Rancic is a part of a $50 million project, announced Monday by Mayor Emanuel, along Chicago's Riverfront.
The upgrade at 321 N. Clark Street includes Chicago’s Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE), which will occupy the dramatic four-level space with RPM On The Water, a restaurant and events located on the north bank of the Chicago River. It is expected to open summer of 2019.
“By investing in Chicago’s riverfront we have transformed it into the city’s next recreational frontier,” Mayor Emanuel said. “Making the riverfront a public priority is now driving private investment that will create jobs and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.”
The mayor collaborated with the property ownership team of Hines, Levy Family Partners, Diversified and American Realty Advisors to work with architecture firm Goettsch Partners on this multi-million dollar project.
According to the news release, “RPM On The Water will house three separate venues including a bi-level restaurant, a private events space and a yet-to-be-named casual concept, all with outdoor areas and expansive views overlooking the river.”
The restaurant is said to focus on high-quality seafood, more from chef/partner Doug Psaltis, and a wine program with impeccable service.
There will also be an entire level dedicated to parties and banquets, accommodating groups ranging from eight to more than 300 guests for lavish weddings, large-scale corporate events and more.

“The building itself has been recognized internationally as a premier example of Chicago's modern architectural legacy and is home to several large tenants, including the American Bar Association and CBRE commercial real estate,” said the release.
