3-Year-Old Boy, 6 Others Shot According to Police

At least seven people, including a three-year-old boy, were shot on the city’s South Side Friday night, according to Chicago police.

The shooting occurred in the Englewood neighborhood in the 1600 block of West 65th Street just after 8 p.m., police said. 

Police say that the three-year-old was shot in the left shin, and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in stable condition. 

Here are the rest of the victims in the shooting: 

  • A 30-year-old man was shot in the lower back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition. 
  • A 27 year old man was shot in the torso and was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in stable condition. 
  • A 30-year-old man was shot in the left leg and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in stable condition. 
  • A 29-year-old man was shot in the left calf and was taken to St. Bernard in stable condition. 
  • A 26-year-old man was shot in the left leg and left hand and was taken to St. Bernard in stable condition. 
  • A 38-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her left arm and was treated on the scene. 

No one is in custody in connection with the incident.
