Two men were found shot to death and another critically injured Tuesday night in Chicago's West Woodlawn neighborhood, police said.
Chicago Police found a 34-year-old man identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Terry L. Brown lying dead in a hallway about 11 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Evans Avenue, according to the Chicago-Sun Times. Another man, who remains unidentified, was found dead on the back porch.
A 29-year-old man identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s as Julius Benford was discovered critically injured in the kitchen and later pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital, the Sun-Times reports.
Brown apparently died of a gunshot wound to the head, and the unidentified man had multiple gunshot wounds.
A motive for the murders weren't known, though according to the Chicago Tribune a source said drugs and cash were found inside the house.
Autopsies were scheduled for later Wednesday.
Police continue looking for suspects. No one is in custody.
